Lucas is a Professional Freelance Industrial Designer, based in Melbourne Australia, with 20 years experience in Industrial Design and the broader Product Development industry.
During his career, Lucas has supported the development of hundreds of projects, for global brands including ARB 4x4, Batavia, Black + Decker, BluCave, BMW Motorrad, Bosstab, Breville, Chamberlain, CSBP, Ford, GM Holden, GMC Tools, Maxwell & Williams, NHP, Orica, OX Tools, Parkside, Qube, Sabco, Siemens VDO, Toyota and many more.
He has been named on numerous patents, and contributed to the awards and successes of many of those clients.
He is currently in the role of Head of Design at Décor Australia, leading the design and product development function for a global product range, and enjoys providing freelance, consulting and mentoring services in a limited capacity to key clients.
Lucas believes working directly with his clients, results in the most streamlined and effective workflows, and collaborates with a close-knit team of trusted suppliers and partners to deliver a personalised and thorough industrial design service for his clients.
